Can't Run

by ~~Fire Angel~~   Sep 11, 2005

Going numb, no remorse.

Always falling, this blind course.

Reality is wearing thin,

Unable to identify sin.

I deal with this everyday,

All you do is run away.

For years now I've been the front line,

The tears and blood have all been mine.

You think I'm weak, but you don't see,

All that's died inside of me.

I have no army, no brigade,

All is failing, my last barricade.

Stained by red, battered and tore,

I know I won't last much more.

All is lost no one will fight,

They are blind to my light.

Fleeting friends are far away,

I know you'll forget me one day.

A passing glance, without the grace,

To stare into my battered face.
