Surrender

Silence speaks through the darkness,
As I slip into the night's open arms.
Surrendering to the pleas in my head.
Surrendering to my consciousness.

A soft melody fills my ears,
As I dream of the days to come.
Soft laughter echoes in my head,
As I think of the happiness I once had.

Fighting the images, I drift away.
Slipping into a land of my own.
Slipping into my paradise.
Surrendering, I drift into my eternal sleep...
