You're leaving me,
That's why these tears form in my eyes.
But I'd like to say something,
Other than goodbye.

For the love you gave me,
Thanks for the care too.
Thank you,
For sharing my dreams with me.
I'll miss you friend,
Now and for eternity.
You will be in my heart,
As well as my thoughts.
Take care my friend,
And don't let that great personality rot.
I know you will look after me,
Even though you are gone.
I know you will protect me,
And give me strength when something goes wrong.
Thank you,
For the memories I'll get strength from.
I will remember you at your best,
Not you being dumb.
So I give you one last hug,
And a kiss on the cheek,
"Goodbye my good friend,"
I say as I see you get weak.
