Don't tell me you love me if your feelings aren't there,
Don't tell me you love me just so I'll stay,
Don't tell me you love me, not tomorrow not today,
Don't tell me I'm pretty, don't tell me I'm smart,
Don't tell me anything that might break my heart.
Don't tell me you love me and that you'll always stay,
Because I don't know that until the end of each day.
