I sit in bed

I sit in bed every night and stay awake,
just to hear all the little noises you make,
from talking in your sleep, to your joyful snoring,
I find each one unique and adoring,
when your sleeping theres a smile on your face,
and that type of smile gives such a warm embrace,
you always seem to giggle when I hold your hand,
and the reason for this, I can't quite understand,

Maybe in your dream, I'm holding your hand too,
or maybe you've realized how much I love you,
could be your dream is funny, and you had to giggle,
it could also just be my hand gave your hand a tickle,
but whatever the reason, your giggle is so unique,
I can't put the description in words to speak,
but thats what I find most adoring about you,
no one else has the smile and laugh that you do,

I now lay down in bed ready to sleep, but still awake,
enjoying the final moments of hearing the noises you make,
