Waterfall

by Vicky   Sep 12, 2005

Unable to sleep
Lost in her thoughts
Hugging her pillow
She is distraught
Tighter she squeezes
More sorrow she drowns
Sobbing her heart out
She feels so down
She can’t take the pain
It’s too much for her
People are laughing
It’s all such a blare
She wants to forget
Again tries to sleep
She tries to rest
Instead she weeps
Her heart feel deserted
The cushion feels damp
She aims to relax
As she turns off the lamp
Thinking in the dark
Resuming the thoughts
Piecing them together
Tears she fought
She cannot stop them
They pour down her face
Almost like a waterfall
She must erase
