The Light

by Ellie   Sep 12, 2005

The light shines through.
I can finally see.
It's all up to me and I'm in control.
I can finally relax and take life slow.
It's like crashing above the water
and being able to breath once again.
I had been drowning for so long.
I wasn't sure where I was heading and I didn't care either.
But now I can live in the moment and do what I want.
I can finally lean back and know I will be caught.
If I was wasted I know I'd have u to hold my hair.
The pain that once stung my stomach is hardly ever there.
I'm no long so cold since I have you.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Scars remind us that the past is real.
I just remember the good times and pop in Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Do you need anybody?
I just need someone to love.
