Yes, I do love you...

by Blutonium Boy   Sep 13, 2005

I bought you a single rose and placed it on your bed,
For you, no color would do, but the color red.
So there I was in your little stooped chair,
Thinking about the next time I'd be able to play with your hair.

Sitting there thinking, and awaiting your arrival,
I knew I loved you, and no one could rival.
I had butterflies in my stomach like the day we first met.
I remember that day when our love was beset.

You came to me in your dark linen dress,
And finally all my worries were but just stress.
You threw your arms around me and held me so close,
I know you love me, like I love you the most.

You looked up at me with your eyes so bright,
Your body gave out and then convulsed back to tight.
I caught you in this moment and laid you down flat,
You smiled a big smile, which then faded to black.

You shed a small tear out of your left eye,
Which smeared your makeup and some of your hair dye.
You asked me how someone like me could love someone like you.
I sat back a minute not knowing what to say or to do.

I finally told you that I loved you with all of my heart,
You accepted it, like you accepted it from the start.
If you were to ask me right now what I thought about you,
It would be a simple response with an I love you too.
