Your perfect little daughter

by Lydie   Sep 13, 2005

Crimson tears, from your wrists
drip down to the page
parents don't notice
just another attitude stage

but have they ever bothered to see
who their 'perfect' daughter really is?
have they ever even wondered
if she could turn out like this?

if she could be unhappy?
if she could ever be sad?
she was always such a good little girl
never did anything bad

but she is like this... lost in her mind
too many thought in her head
wishing she was gone
wishing she was dead

always saying it'll be better tomorrow
but it never is
waking up hoping
the day won't be like this

she's sick of this hell
she's sick of their lies
she's had enough of you
she's said her goodbyes

but each day she puts it off
why?
she's so very sure
they wouldn't care for her to die

so she cuts a little deeper
these irriversable marks made by a knife
with each new cut
she's a little closer to ending her life.

    "she's sick of this hell
    she's sick of their lies
    she's had enough of you
she's said her goodbyes" you repeat She and even sick too many times here.

    "if she could be unhappy?
if she could ever be sad?" if she could here

those are just a few areas i believe you could clean up and make this a wonderful peice, it will really grab the reader and be able to keep the flow and attention on the poem better.

i loved the opening of the poem though that was great. if you ever fix this up let me know because i am intrested to see what you can do with this peice!
