Driving lessons

I cant seem to find the brake
I'm speeding uncontrollably
How much more of this can I take
Before I fall apart

I cant see out the windshield
I don't know whats to come
I'm driving through a field
Covered in rocky bumps

I reach to grab the wheel
But I have no control
I don't know how I feel
But I see I'm all alone

I don't know whats to come
But I think I see a light
Where is it coming from
I still have so much fright

The future isn't clear
But I know ill find a way
I need to learn to steer
If I want to learn to play

I'm out of school right now
And I don't know where to turn
But when I find the way
I will let my candle burn
