Lost Smiles

Slicing at my arm with a shiny silver blade
Feeling the pain as it slowly starts to fade
Seeing my pale, numb skin gradually rip
Watching the crimson blood lifelessly drip
Knowing inside that the cutting is only the start
Soon life could end all because of a broken heart
Living life everyday, realizing what I'm going through
Going back to the way I once was, I never thought Id do
Remembering I used to laugh and smile
Realizing now its been awhile
I cant go on like this, living a lie
I have to let go of this razor or forever say goodbye
