I'm Not Just A Name On A Line

So many seem to like my poetry
they say i shouldn't end
but what i write is what i feel
this hatred isn't pretend

you're wasting your time
with your comments and votes
I'm a sea of dead feelings
and the body still floats

but i cant make you stop
even though i know why
i thank you for your encouragement
in not wanting me to die

the truth be told now
i don't deserve the good
i want you to understand
if only you could

theres a million people here
who write of pain like me
but its these things i write
that i don't want you to see

my poems on this site
don't serve their given task
typed clean and neat
in their own little mask

if you saw the papers
of which i wrote them on
they would be torn and tattered
with blood and tears both gone

i wanted to let you know
that i am not just a word on a line
these poems i write are just regrets
of things i could never call mine
