As I Sit Here

by DilemazAngel   Sep 13, 2005

As I sit here wondering
What kind of day tommorrow holds?
I can't stop the tears from falling
As this great fear unfolds.

What will come my way?
What challenges must I face?
I feel my mind go astray
As my heart starts to race.

Through the years that have passed
Only one thing remains so true
My life has been so graced
With all the love I feel for you.

I remember you so small
So fragile, a gift of light
Now I stand proud and tall
Astounded at your might.

Time goes by so quickly
At times it scares me I confess
I just want you to know I'm lucky
And proud of all your success.

To my three reasons for living
For getting up and facing a new day
I thank you for your loving
As I sit here, smile and pray.

My mother wrote this for me and my 2 brothers. :)
