Jenna's Story

by Blutonium Boy   Sep 13, 2005

Jenna was but fifteen when she opened her fathers door and let out a scream,
You would to if you saw your father hanging from the ceiling.
Not a sound or a word did her father speak.
Not a word...
Not a peep...

What her father did would last forever,
She would never forget it... Not now... Not ever.
Twenty years later it was still the same.
She still had that ghost in her closet, which needed to be tamed.

She was still numb, still hurting from her ordeal,
Not any amount of medications or therapy could heal.
She turned to a blade for all her relief,
But before she let go she wrote down her belief.

"It is all my fault my father is gone."
"I don't know why or where I went wrong."
"Oh god, please forgive me and let me be strong."
"Please let it be fast and not very long."
"Here I come father, I am on my way."
"In your heart, I shall forever stay."

so wonderfully described...Each line unfurled deep pain and remorse...
