It was dark and frightening
I couldn't see anything
My conscience was repeating itself
Enlightening me not to let go
But I was lost
Though as I was walking there was nothing in sight
Sounds of terror and screams made me feel selfless and alone
My thoughts were to either find a corner and sit with my knees pressed against my chest feeling my pulse beat faster and faster
OR...
Fighting my fears and inhaling one deep breathe as it all begins to end
I couldn't control my thoughts
It was like i was mesmerized
I got up from the corner
But I couldn't run I felt like my energy had been ejected
Screaming! Screaming!
That's all I heard
It had found me
I felt like I was in a box
No air nothing at all I could do
Except...
Watch as my fear takes over my body
Watching, it looked like I was weightless but heavy and still down under
Not moving, pale, breathless
Floating below, as my fear takes my life.
