On The Wall

by Danielle   Sep 13, 2005

Gray skies overhead and I keep on walking.
As the words go through my ear.
Don't act like you don't mean it,
Don't say sorry if you're not sincere.

On the wall's a picture
Of the dreamy silhouette
Icy blue eyes fill with doubts.
There's nothing to regret.

Don't forget my whispers
That will haunt you in your dreams
Misery is what I know
Or so it always seems.

Black and white photographs
Are hanging above the bed
I'm sorry for anything to hurt you
Or anything I did or said.

The wind is getting stronger now
Trying to pull me in
The icy blue eyes are staring at me
Burning right through my skin.

High pitch screams are starting to rise
As I try to block it out
Nothing can stop them from getting me
All I have is agony's doubt.

All skin and bones is what I am
I'm starting to become afraid
All this mysterious actions
I wish they wouldn't of stayed.

I fall asleep quite peacefully
As I know I start to fall
My eyes are like wings of butterflies
As the picture fades on the wall.
