Afraid of life
afraid to die
afraid of the knife
afraid to cry

afraid to be alone
afraid to feel
afraid to let anyone close, to let them see what's real

afraid to love you
afraid of everything
afraid to see what I know is true

afraid to be held
afraid of the dark
afraid to tell
to reveal my broken heart

afraid of my mind
afraid of crying
afraid to shine
afraid of trying

afraid to speak out
afraid to stand
afraid to let anyone see who I really am

    Usually repetitive poems like this arn't my thing, but i liked this one. it seemed to have a rhythum that pulled you in.

    Wow that was very good. It was nice and had a nice flow to it; but one thing I would suggest, that I probably need to work on myself, is sticking to a certain amount of lines per stanza. For example, most poems have 4 lines in a stanza. Nevertheless, it was very good--5/5
