For You To Come Along..

I'll never say how I am again,
I'll lie to you from the start.
I hate telling you I'm fine,
When all I can think about is what's wrong.
But these days I've realized,
That no one really cares,
How you are,
Or who you are,
Or what you can't bear.
Now I look at myself in the mirror,
And see my makeup run,
Watch it dance down my face,
Along with my transparent worries.
I just want to be happy,
And feel refreshed as the sun catches my face,
But I never will,
For darkness always clouds my way.
This is my last cry out to you,
Out to someone,
To save me from myself,
Though as always,
I fear,
No one will bother to hear.
Cant you see these sad tears dancing in my eyes?
They may refuse to fall but their still here.
I can't take this anymore,
I only want someone to hear me out,
Hear my cry and pain,
Save me from my blood.
Save my heart from breaking anymore,
Save my arms from all their marks.
...But you'll never hear me,
Because you never listen,
I'll be here alone,
Waiting forever,
Forever...for you to come along.

    Great expression! You dove into your inner feelings and expressed them into words which is so hard to do.

    These days its so difficult because we focus on our own pain, making ourselves feel bad and everyone else is focusing on themselves. It seems when we reach out, it gets lost in this self-obsessed society but we're as bad as everyone else.

    Again, a sad poem. If you want someone to reach out to you, find someone who is sad themselves and reach out to them.

    That ones a bit sad =( ... the bit about how nobody really cares how you are really captured my attention as today i wrote a similar thing on my msn space. asking how you are practically is just being polite...
    but back to your poem, you have alot of talent...keep it up xx
