I can't replace You

by Lithium   Sep 14, 2005

Out on the waters edge,
Love so pure you can't forget,
Every ripple upon the lake,
I embrace with no regret,

Each scar upon my skin,
Fading away for I have you,
If only in my site it's enough,
To vanish all feelings blue,

In my small but fragile body,
My heart beats only for one,
A person so beautiful in every way,
A love that can't be undone,

Through all the years I've spent,
Adoring you from afar,
I realise your more then just a friend,
You're my shining star,

From the moment I saw you,
How our lips and hands touch,
I knew I'd love no other,
Like I love you so much,

Pictures will last a thousand years,
But I need to see your smiling face,
Each day I want to put my hand in yours,
You're my only love who can't be replaced.
