The Black Swirls

by jaki   Sep 14, 2005

The back swirls
Circling round her feet
Dancing for no reason
But dancing all the same
The black swirls
Making images on the wall
Creating chaos
With no apparent reason
The black swirls
Mirror imaging her tears
Fighting with her pain
And tearing at her wings
The black swirls
Creeping higher into the air
Making it harder to see
Making life like it was meant to be
The black swirls
Teasing her new life
Creating pain of their own
Taking back what they gave to her
The black swirls
Damaging her already broken wings
Pulling out the feathers
Dragging her back to earth
The black swirls
Pulling her down further
Taking her to the fiery pits of hell
Leaving her where she should be
The black swirls
Sinking into her face
Taking her life
Making her pain
The black swirls
Being the night
Taking the lives of those
That have committed the ultimate crime...

...suicide...
