Blackened Tears

I'm so afraid
but there is no light
a pitch black tunnel
leaves nothing to fight

Slowly giving up
I can no longer breathe
drowning in darkness
no dreams left to believe

The deepest sadness
is screaming inside
and these crimson tears falling
grow painful to hide

I can't live as a shadow
can't see in this black
I'm leaving you soon
but i won't make it back

I'm so sorry to do this
for the tears you will shed
but in my darkened tunnel
no light shines ahead.
