I'll Miss You

Its the last thing id expect
the last thing id desire,
To loose a friend like you
My stomach feels like fire.

I wanted to blame god,
i cursed at the devil.
but really your not gone,
your just at a different level

People say move ON
or they just look at me and stare
they all call me crazy
because I'm talking to the 'air'

I'm missing you insanely
i think about it every day
Ive done everything i can think of
but the pain just wont go away

And one day i will join you,
I'll finally be at rest
because when it comes to friends
you truly were the best.

    Very touching poem! I love the second stanza as it shows understanding for life...death (I'm assuming) is a part of life. It's hard to deal with but something we all face..unfortunately. Know your friend is in heaven safe and sound...beautiful dedication!!! I'm sure that gave her many a smile! very nice write!!!!!! :)
