Daddy

by MizCrowley   Sep 14, 2005

Kinda long, not that good, please tell me what you think.

A little girl hides in the night
She hides in fear, she hides in fright
In her closet, she hides alone
Shes afraid of light if her face is shown
She holds her breathe because Daddys near
She hears him ask, "Where are you dear? "
She hugs the bruises on her sides,
He passes the closet in which she hides
She lifts her hand, to wipe away her tears
She wishes Mummy could wipe away her fears
But Mummys gone, she went away,
The girl wishes she'll come home today
She hears her Daddy run down the staris
When people see her bruises, they give him glares
She starts to whimper, but she tries to be silent
She wonders why Daddy gets so violent
She hates when Daddys vioce starts to rise
She hates when Daddy finds out she cries
Once again, Daddy runs up the flight
She holds back her whimpers with all of her might
Her fathers shadow comes through the crack in the door
He whispers, "Sweetheart?" just once more.
He opens the door, and he whips her out,
She screams and cries, and he starts to shout
\"Now answer me this, Sweetheart dear,
Why do you cower when Daddy comes near? "
He quiets down, she starts to pout
She puts her hand on her leg to hold the blood coming out
She looks up at him through her mothers eyes
She asks of him where she goes when she dies
A guilty tear drops off his face
He says, "With Mummy, a better place"
