Broken To Pieces

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Sep 14, 2005

I stare at the girl standing before me.
Her emotionless eyes gaze blankly ahead.
Sadness runs down her cheeks, torn.
Incapable of holding it in, her scream echoes.

Taken by rage, she grabs a pair of scissors.
Tearing her hair apart, cutting away the anger.
A dark mass covers the floor, mutilated.
Bottled for so long, her scream echoes in the night.

Desperate to save her from herself, I reach out.
I break the glass that seperates us, panicked.
As I look down at the shattered glass, broken to pieces.
The girl stares back at me: my reflection.
