You tell me about your worries,
You tell me about your fears
I sorrow those days
That I cant calm your tears.

I think about the future,
I think about the past.
I think about those days
that we wish could always last.

Those other days that your in pain.
That I know I cant release.
It's all locked up inside your heart, and you've thrown away the keys.

I wish I could take away
All your suffering and sorrow.
I wish I could say for sure
That we're all promised another tomorrow.

The fact of the matter is,
That we don't know what life brings us.
So just know I'm always here for you
No matter what comes at us.

This world goes through so much,
Like criminals and mass destruction.
But, I'll be there to hold your hand
When the light goes out in each direction.

Just being there,
Through thick and thin,
All just to say, you are my friend.
