Broken Trust

by Katrina Boblina   Sep 15, 2005

*It's going to rhyme soon so don't worry*

If I should die this very moment,
please let there be no tears shed
and no sorrow wasted
on a pathetic thing like me.

My mom and I
had a fight not long ago.
It was nothing compared to the pain
I was about too under go.

I sat at the computer
thinking it was my only friend
at least it can't betray me
and tear my heart even more.

But then you came on
and it started out fine
And then you told me
not to get mad.

What did you expect?
You fu cking betrayed my trust.
Your ruining our friendship this time
not me for once in my life.

Make this the same as our other fights,
Your life will be just the same
and we will be just as close
as before you betrayed me.

The only thing that will change
will be the embarrassment I feel,
The heart I've been trying to mend,
and the anger I'll try to keep hidden.

All this just so we can keep being friends.
Obviously your friendship means enough to me
that I will let you get away
with breaking my trust more than ever.

I like your concept a great deal, never really been one for profanity in poetry, but gets your point across I suppose. Well chosen style and word usage. You have a very good base.
