The destitute

by alka mendiratta   Sep 15, 2005

Clouds of poverty
amidst them
lives a young soul
no mother to care
no father to feed
his begging arms
not for alms
his gazing eyes
on someone to endow
to all the rich
a plea I make
to uplift
one such soul

Another great work of art from you. You are amazing. There are a few suggestions that I want to make. The first one is that I think you should try to break this poem up into two stanzas. That way the other readers want have a hard time following it. The second thing is You should always capitalize your I's. Other then that I see no other errors. I think the flow is wonderful, the picture is clear, and that this is completely beautiful. 5/5

You have a amazing talent for writing. I would love to read more of your work. I am waiting for you to submit new poems so that I can add you to my favorites.

I know that you did not get a chance to enter my last contest so I will start a new one after I'm done judging this one.

I hope that you take the time to enter.

Keep up the beautiful work that you are doing.

    Love & best wishes
