Don't Give Up

I know that your path
has grown quite dark,
and i know that the the world
has left a mark

You've lost your way
so many times before
and you keep going in
circles, you just don't care anymore

You close your eyes
and wish for and end
and you forget to notice
the worries of your friend

And just as your ready
to just plain give up,
and just as your thinking
'there isn't any need'

Think of those around you
and what you mean to them
how much they would miss you
so just don't give up.
