The Story Of A Broken Heart

by Bradley   Sep 15, 2005

Slowly one artery breaks away
As she tells me "we need to speak"

Another unweaves itself from the complex muscle that is my tender heart
She tells me i should "sit down"

The left atrium frees itself
"We cant work out" she mutters

My right one follows suit
"I've found another" she mumbles

My ventricles come loose
"I'm sorry, i have to go" and with that she leaves

I feel the last beat
"Come back!" i cry

She doesn't
