Save Her

by eyesxshutxtite   Sep 15, 2005

Someone Save Her
Look at her face,
A broken beauty.
Her fragile frame
Is adorned with skeletal shadows.
She bows down.
Hear the applause?
This is her “success”
Her hunger is subsided
Only to gain control.
Control of her life.
Control of herself.
Just control.
She looks in the mirror
At the frail image
Of what was once a girl.
She is a stranger,
A stranger to herself.
And silently,
Her heart aches.
