Maudlin Insomia

by ..::.alreadyGoNe..::.   Sep 15, 2005

Nothing seems to matter anymore
I walk the halls of my highschool
with a sinking feeling of dread overcoming me
deep down in the pit of my stomach
my heart so confused
with all the feeling flitting through it's interior
I can live without love for now
even though it's so hard to make it through every day
expecting the worst to occur
all the voices tune out
it's just me here inside my mind
trying to coax myself to snap out of it
and lift up my hanging head
my eyes filled with so much emotion I'll never say
I'm hanging on because one remaining part of my deceased heart is still living tissue
it tells me that the sharp objects
are not the key to happiness
daughter of grief
unborn in the core of you
people barrel past me
unaware of my sentimental tears
but I never did expect anyone to care that much

**Maudlin:Tearfully sentimental
**Insumnia: inability to sleep

If ya just appreciate your life and who god made you, and what hes putting you through you will be happier, therefore god will grant you the wish of love, now instead of thinking on the dark side, omg my parents are getting a divorce, its all my fault, think on the bright side, o well i guess my parents arent in love anymore, i hope they find better people, either way i will be happy for them, ^_^ see its that easy,
