You're Not Alone

She sits
Day after day
With friends surrounding her
Yet she feels
All alone.
She's smiling brightly
As he walks up to her
And she's wishing
He could see
Right through
The wall she hides behind
Everyday.
Darkness, Depression, Anger, Fear
It's how she feels
And she thinks
There's no way out.
She wants to cry, to scream, to run, to hide.
But over all of this
She wants a friend to talk to.
Through all her efforts
Of trying to disappear
Behind the wall;
He saw through it.
He looked past the exterior
And into
Her heart.
He saw the pain
That she's held
For so long.
He sits beside her
And says;
"It's okay to cry,
It's okay to scream,
I'm here for you,
And you're not alone."
