The Storm Within

by Michael D Nalley   Sep 16, 2005

First there is unrest in the air
The turbulence rises there
The heat is stored in the ocean
Like a suppressed emotion

It begins to spin out of control
Seems mother-nature has no soul
Woe to anyone in its path
When this nature shows its wrath

Though it has happened in every age
Many fail to escape this natural rage
Homes are torn and hearts will shatter
Fear sets in as the victims scatter

Some people will survive some will forever rest
When nature is at its worst we need to give our best
The tempest may strike the temple where we pray
Our foundation must be strong lest we be washed away

    Marvellous write, very compelling.

You write with so much empathy, I admire your ability to do that very much.
