Angel of Fire

As i dance to the fire
my heart goes wild
sweat drips down my cheeks
i can not speak

i can not breathe
i can not see
my mind is of the flames
dancing in their waves

I'm barely hanging on
the smoke is not gone
the heat of desire
is inside of my fire

my life is near ending
on the fire it is depending
as my mind fades away
my life will always stay

here with my fire
for my hearts desire
my body and life will stay
and never ever wander away..

.......i awaken to see
a beautiful angel standing over me
i stare in his blue eyes
I'm entranced with the sky

in the sky he brings
me of all things
flying up to the throne
where the light is shown

Me? An angel of fire
an angel of a liar
the most darkest one
step on earth and last to come...
from the gates of hell

will i finally be free?
will Satan my dad let me be?
will god forget my past?
and let me in at last?

Will heaven at last be my home?
free to go and forever roam
the beautiful sky
to no longer cry
the horrible tears
as my father toys with my fears...

theres no more here
in this world but fear
waiting...
suffocating...

He stops and kneels
to the god who kills
my hopes and dreams
i do nothing but scream

i fall to the floor
theres nothing more
my father has tricked me
my angel can not see
for he is a dark angel
"YOU CRETIN!"..
..i scream

My father smiles and laughs
as i see so clearly my horrid past
"You see my daughter...
this is why i am your father.."

"God does not want you...
for you and I are not two..
we are one..
now let us come
let me do what i must
to those who resist us.."

He takes my arm
pulls me up.. i feel no harm
i stare in wonder
i start to ponder...

"Don't think too hard
ask yourself this..
why would i want a stupid bard
sing and write of the way i miss
to cause you more harm?"

"Now stand and be proud
for you are the heir to hell
say it loud out to the crowd..."

I look down at the demons
and angels that i now call cretins
looking at me with excitement and fear
not one single tear.....

i swallow and say
"I am your heir
so listen, fear, and obey me!"
i was deafened by the cheer
they screamed, roared and no one could hear

I write my feelings
through this pen
understand the meanings
of my world within

I grin and bow
theres no turning back now
My future is set
nothing more to regret
