Dear Mom and Dad,
This will probably make you sad,
But you need to know
I’ve given up the fight
I’m so sick of crying each and every night
I’m tired of all this pain
Why do you think I even considered cutting my vein
Dad, do you remember all of those
“scratches� Well, they weren’t from the cat
I can’t believe YOU didn’t realize that!
Mom, why do you think I always want to be alone?
It wasn’t just to talk on the phone!

You thought you knew me well,
But you didn’t even know, that my life is hell
My home was all that I had left, but you took it away
I tried to make you listen, but you just don’t understand me
Well hopefully you’ll be better off without me
Now incase you don’t understand,
I’m running away from you
Don’t look for me, cuz you haven’t got a clue
As to who I really am
I don’t care if you’ll miss me
Maybe if you give me time, then I’ll call
All I know is right now, my whole world’s falling apart
