The dance of death

Seventeen men died on a boat
they went down with the ship
the poor thing couldn't stay afloat
they danced the dance of death

today a baby died at birth
the mother cried her tears
another being lies in the earth
he danced the dance of death

a city destroyed by an attack
many lost their lives
and so the city strikes back
they all danced the dance of death

a lady was shot in the street
her husband now a widower
her taken from under her feet
she danced the dance of death

a car raced of the ledge
and it plunged into the rocks
the men lived on the edge
they danced the dance of death

a plane crashes in the ocean
many souls were lost that day
many nations show much emotion
they danced the dance of death
