The day I found out you liked me.
I laughed at you a little.
It never crossed my mind
that anyone could care about me.

We went out separate ways
and we found each other again
We became close
and you still felt the same.

I cried that night because I felt bad.
I felt bad because I didn't like you
the same way you liked me
and I didn't want to hurt you

I could have had what I wanted,
but I guess I was scared,
scared of getting hurt again,
because my heart was already in pieces.

I thought about the situation
And realized the truth.
I realized I liked you
And started to cry.

When I realized all this.
