Girl that Was Left Behind

A girl silently cries
Alone in a corner
Her world has crumbled
Everyone has left her

She sits back and watches
The world go by at full blast
Everything has changed
Not like it was in the past

Everyone is so different
And she is still the same
It's so difficult for her to understand
Why things have to change

She sees people having fun
While she sits at home
All her friends have left her
She is left all alone

She wants things to go back to normal
She doesn't like the way things are
Almost always feeling scared
And bearing her derangement scars

She wants her broken heart mended
And her eyes to stop streaming tears
Wants to put down the knife
That will forever end her years

She wishes people will stop teasing her
Because she has not changed
Obviously, they've failed to notice
That she is far beyond deranged

She has become suicidal
And willing to take her life
She's so depressed and lonely
That she ends her life in strife
