The Deer

One day i wandered through a Field,
and there i saw a deer.
he pranced and jumped filled with joy
never suspecting what would come next.
when suddenly he fell,
shot strait through the heart.
he crashed to the ground,
and never again did he start.
the hunter came and skinned him,
took all he had to give,
and left the carcass for the vultures...
