What Happens When The Neighbors Sleep

by Ewa   Sep 17, 2005

Cuddles turn into
Soft-spoken kisses
Never to be seen by
Overrun letters
Excuses made to
Cover the questionable
Lies we've started believing
The daily hassles
We've gotten
Too used to spending
Then one day
We see the truth
We never expected
Betrayal and hatred
Fill the eyes of
All those disguised
Bears and good night kisses
All to get
The one you once called
A friend
