To tear out my soul
To rip out my heart
To leave me alone
To die, to suffer alone

I feel betrayed by my own feelings
How could they be wrong?
How could they lie?

I trusted you not,
Said you played away.

Pass me the knife...
To tear out my soul
To rip out my heart
For that's what I deserve.

I broke our bond and pushed you away
Please tell me you will forgive me one day.

Let us go back
Let us stay the same
Let me show you I love you
Help me fix the hole in my world.

I never meant to hurt you, I know you will never forgive me but I need you to know I love you. And I never meant to let you go.

*i wrote this poem just after me and my bf broke up. i now know it wasn't me. we were both in the wrong.

    I really wanna see you do a real form not just free verse, i dunno if it's just these two poems i read but both of them were like this and free verse is good but i think youd do good with a more strict form too...anyways i liked this and i didnt at the same time i kinda felt like it didn't get the whole emotion i dunno maybe im weird lol imma go with a 5/5 cause it was well written and it's missing something i think but i can't figure it out so good job
