Sweet little anne

There is the shadows
long stand the man
still holding onto
to his dear little Anne

there in the shadows
long stand the girl
still holding onto
that sweet little pearl

here in the shadows
making their hearts drop
realizing that its gone
theres no time to stop

here in the shadows
the little voices scream
knowing theres nothing
hoping its a dream

back in the shadows
the race begins
nothing to hold onto
but that sweet little grin

back in the shadows
the two people weep
screaming for nothing
its all gone too deep

calming the shadows
of him and her
telling them life will go on
knowing that night was a blur

calming the shadows
relieving the souls
making them let go
starting new goals

out from the shadows
into just pain
keeping the hearts
out of the rain

out of the shadows
helping them plan
starting from nothing
after losing sweet little Anne
