September Eleven

by Kayla Sonya Dearing   Sep 17, 2005

The laughs
The fun
The smiles
It stopped on that day

On that day
We had tears in our eyes
We had frowns on our faces
And we began to hate more

Everyone's turning on the news
Sitting down crying
Praying for family and friends
The world stopped on that day

On that day
We lost the twin towers
We lost thousands of men and women
Children gone to foster homes

On that day
This war had begun
Men and women gone overseas
And there they died defending our country

September Eleven
Was a day that I will not forget,
On that day
Everyones life had changed!
