Your Photograph

by Alex   Sep 17, 2005

I'm looking at your photograph,
Which is what I do a lot,
It's not as good as having you,
But then...it's all I've got.

A photo adds dimension
To your vision in my thought,
Adds lustre to my fantasies,
And substance to my plot.

It is a thing hard to explain,
This passionate desire,
Which rages deep within my breast
Like a consuming fire.

I crave to grasp you in my arms,
To hold your body tight,
And with no-one to interrupt,
Make love to you all night.
