Reborn

by Timothy S   Sep 17, 2005

Joyful envy of the ocean's beauty
Offends me, how I swam in it, how she knew me
Defenseless as the ocean caresses my skin
Inside my head, throughout my body she fills me with sin
Corrupted my thoughts, couldn't help but let her in
Swimming with me now, nude as I was reborn again
Held me close as she was I, and I am him
Felt no loss, now I'm free and unchained as I was then
Changed rapidly for the better as the ocean brought me in
Out of mind, out of body, never the same...never again
