The Soft Rain

by Joey Matthews   Sep 17, 2005

It rains outside
So soft it brushes by
Without a shiver
I stand
Looking at the same place
While people walk by

I've seen too many pictures
That I couldn't describe
with ease
Pain, Hurt, Betrayal
This lonesome sky

I don't want to feel
I only want what's true
I found myself not knowing
Anything apart from you

My underfoot
Slowly starts to rot
Maybe, I can see the way ahead
But I'm not looking back
It's easier

Because I'm with you

Hmm...very sentimental..I really love the way you used the words like...the rain...the sky...etc...very unique than the others...real good
