Scars

by Misha   Sep 18, 2005

A girl sits in her room all alone,
Wondering to herself.
Wondering what she has done,
All she wanted was an escape.
Just for a little while,
She got her escape,
But not the way she wanted to.
In the process she hurt people,
People she cares for.
People who only wanted to help her.
So this girl thinks,
She got the escape,
She got away from it all,
But for too long she feared,
How long will it take too mend,
The wounds,
That she had opened?
How long for the scars,
To heal?
How long for the,
Tears,
To dry?
Or the hearts to
Stop breaking?
How long for the,
The words,
To stop echoing,
In her head?
Her friends may forgive her,
In fact she is sure of it,
But her scars will,
Never go away.
For she knows,
She hurt more than her friends,
She hurt herself,
And those scars,
Never Fade.
