Prison of blood and death

by Sinister Soire   Sep 18, 2005

I lie inside my prison
Awaiting my demise
Waiting for the silence
Of the glimmer of my eyes

These walls are dark and heavy
Coated with my blood
The ground is soft and supple
Coated with my crud

I look across to other cells
And see other desperate souls
Waiting for their turn to die
And sink in deep dark holes

The people all around me
Have all been covered too
In the blood of me and them
Until our time is through

I know I will not make it
Out of this dreadful place alive
That is why in this prison
Of blood and death I do survive
