Dad, Can I Come Home

by hopeless08   Sep 18, 2005

Dad,

I did exactly what you told me to do
I didn't disobey you
I didn't drink
OK, maybe just a little
I didn't do any drugs
Well, not a lot of them
I promised I wouldn't do them
I only tried them once
Dad, I still love you
Will you forgive me
Can I come home now
I don't like it up here
I can't be with you
I try to talk to you, but
you don't answer me
It's like you can't hear me
My new house
Seems so far away from you
Why did you send me here
I can see our town from up here
I got to talk to Grandma
I like it a little bit, but
I love you, Dad
Can I please come home
