My Best Friend

I have a friend
the greatest of all
shes just like my sister
and I know she will be there when I call

she knows me better
than anyone else
and only around her
can I truly be myself

she has been through so much
and she is so strong
ever since we met
we have been friends all along

she wants so bad to run away
but I don't want her to go
she invited me to come with her
but i kinda like my home

some people say shes a freak
or a weird girl
but she is a part of me
she is my whole world

she has saved me
so many times
I'm not sure how to repay her
but you don't know how hard I try

she is my best friend

impossible you think?
